High-grade mild strip steel, hot galvanized with a process that combines zinc, a conversion coating and a clear organic polymer top coat to form a triple layer of protection against corrosion and abrasion. Has a low friction ID coating that improves the slip properties between conduit and wire. It provides easy bending, cutting and joining while resisting flattening, kinking and splitting. Reduces electromagnetic fields, effectively shielding computers and sensitive electronic equipment from the electromagnetic interference caused by power distribution systems. Scotch(R) Vinyl electrical tape Super 88 is a premium-grade, 8.5 mil thick, all-weather vinyl insulating tape. It is designed to perform continuously in ambient temperatures up to 105 deg C (220 deg F). The tape is conformable for cold weather applications down to -18 deg C (0 deg F). It has excellent resistance to abrasion, moisture, alkalies, acids, corrosion and varying weather conditions. The combination of elastic backing and aggressive adhesive provides moisture-tight electrical and mechanical protection with minimum bulk.

Temperature range from 32 to 176 deg F.
